Rhoads, died at her home in Somerset Township, July 19, of Bright's disease. She was born in Lonaconing, Md., March 3, 1873, and was aged 57 years, 4 months and 16 days. She was a daughter of Isaac and Mary (Wagner) Gonser, both dead. Her father was a shoemaker and lived in Salisbury, many years ago. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Harry W. Brant of Berlin; Clayton, at home; Mrs. W. Lease of Somerset Township, and Mrs. Paul Joyce, of Banning, Pa., also by 12 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Harvey Miller of Somerset Township. Her other sister, Mrs. Gertie Fredericks, died April 7, 1930. Mrs. Rhoads' burial took place in Wills Church Cemetery, July 21, following services in the church. Meyersdale Republican, July 31, 1930
