Preceded in death by mother; brothers, Earl and Milton Jr.; sister, Lois Young, and sister-in-law, Ethel Lohr. Survived by father, Stoystown RD 1; husband, Clarence, and these children: Allen, married to former Judith Discavage, and Judy, wife of John J. Drenning, both of Stoystown RD 1; Glenn, married to former Debra Braeseker, Rockwood; Nancy, wife of James Elder, and Duane, both of Somerset RD 3; grandchildren: Lisa, Karen, Scott, Michael and Jared Rhoads. Sister of Paul, Meyersdale RD 3, and Donald, married to Dawna, Columbia; Sister-in-law of Sarah Lohr, Wayne Young, Kathryn and David Miller and Luella and Howard Beale. Member of Homer Evangelical Lutheran Church. Past member of church council. Charter member and past officer of Stoystown Lioness Club. Also member of Somerset B.P.W., where she was past president and Woman of the Year, 1985. Jenner Township 4-H sewing leader, volunteer at Somerset Hospital and Meals on Wheels. Retired bookkeeper for Somerset Door and Column with 20 years service. Friends were received Wednesday evening and will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell. Service at 11 am. Friday at Homer Church, Rev. Richard A. Schlak officiating. Interment, Homer-Mt. Tabor Cemetery. No viewing at church. Memorials to Homer Lutheran Church or Somerset Hospital Hospice would be appreciated.
