  RHOADS
  
  Kermit L. Rhoads, 87, (Route 601) Stoystown RD, died Oct. 10, 1997,
  at Somerset Hospital.  Born May 15, 1910, in Brothersvalley Township,
  son of Allen Brant and Sadie (Rhoads) Maust.  Preceded in death by
  parents, stepfather, Robert Maust, wife, the former Nannie Cora Lohr,
  Aug. 4, 1979, daughter, Lanelle D., July 16, 1990 and brother, Lewis
  E. Maust.  Survived by son, David L.; Hanover, Pa. and daughters: Lu
  Ann, wife of Robert W. Atkinson, West Chester, Pa., and Elsie S.,
  Stoystown RD; five grandchildren: Peter and Stephen Rhoads, Ann
  Nicole, Robert and Ryan Atkinson; three great-grandchildren: Jordan,
  Madison and Cory Rhoads; and sister, Dorothy (Maust) Brougher,
  Somerset.  Member of Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church,
  Jennerstown.  Was a retired employee of Agway Mc., Somerset, and a
  former Jenner Township supervisor.  Friends received from noon until 4
  p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny
  Street, Roswell.  Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of service at
  11 a.m. Monday at Laurel Trinity Church, with the Rev. Michael H.
  Tammoria officiating.  Interment, Zion-Hoffman Lutheran Cemetery,
  Jenner Township.
