  Mrs. Nannie Cora Rhoads, 62, Stoystown RD 1, died Aug. 4, 1979, at
  Windber Hospital.  Born Dec. 1, 1916, in Jenner Townshp, Somerset
  County, daughter of Richard F. and Elsie (Bowman) Lohr.  Preceded in
  death by mother, who died Nov. 22, 1966, and sister, Sarah M.
  Shaffer, who died May 3, 1970.  Survived by father, Stoystown RD 1;
  husband, Kermit L.; and these children: Lanelle, Phoenix, Ariz.;
  David, married to the former Kathy Woffindin, Gambrills, Md.; LouAnn,
  wife of Robert W. Atkinson, of West Chester, Pa.; Elsie, at home;
  three grandchildren, Peter and Stephen Rhoads, and Ann Nicole
  Atkinson. Sister of Evelyn, wife of Hubert Friedline, Boswell RD 2;
  R. Louis, married to the former Ethel Thompson, Stoystown RD 3; L.
  Hilton, married to the former Ruth Emerick, Soystown RD 1; Bessie,
  wife of Rev. G. Franklin Gray, Wrightsville, Pa.; and David L,
  married to the former Evelyn Swope, Friedens RD 2; also
  brother-in-law Dwight S. Shaffer, Stoystown RD 1.  Member of Zion
  Hoffman Lutheran Church and Jenner Grange No. 1661.  Friends were
  received Sunday evening and will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Monday at Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St.,
  Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. G.
  Franklin Gray.  Interment, Zion Hoffman Cemetery.
