  RHOADS
  
  Salome E. "Lomie" Rhoads, 93, Allegheny Lutheran Home, formerly of
  Boswell RD 1, died July 28, 1987, at the home.  Born Feb. 25, 1894, in
  Conemaugh Township, daughter of Edward J. and Mary (Heckman) Rhoads.
  Preceded in death by parents, 10 sisters, one half-brother, and two
  half-sisters.  Survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including
  James E. Spory, with whom she formerly resided. Oldest member of
  Benscreek Lutheran Church and charter member of Church Missionary
  Society, now L.C.W.  Friends received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell.
  Service at 11 a.m. Friday at Benscreek Lutheran Church where viewing
  will also be held from 10 a.m. until time of service, the Rev. Gary
  Blobaum.  Interment, Thomas Mennonite Cemetery.
