THERESA RHOADS

  Mrs. Theresa Rhoads, aged 90 years, died Saturday afternoon at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Irvin Shumaker, of Glade City, following a long illness of 
diseases incident to age.  Mrs. Rhoads had observed her 90th birthday 
anniversary last Friday, a dinner being served at the Shumaker home in honor of 
the event.  She is survived by the daughter mentioned above and two other 
children, Mrs. Henrietta Bowman, of Grantsville, Md., and William Rhoads, of 
Charleroi.  Fifteen grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren also survive.
  The body was prepared for burial by Undertaker W. C. Price.  Funeral services 
were conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Shumaker home.  Rev. H. A. 
Carpenter, pastor of the Meyersdale Christian Church, of which the deceased was 
a member, officiated.  Interment was made in the Union Cemetery.
