  RHODES
  
  Alta L. Rhodes, 88, formerly of Stoystown RD 1 (Jenner Crossroads),
  died April 13, 1987, at Anderson Rolling Pine Nursing Home,
  Stahlstown.  Born Feb. 27, 1899, in Coal Run, daughter of George and
  Ada (Whistler) Winters.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Harry,
  died 1963; three brothers: John, Harry and Carl; and sister, Florence
  Zimmerman.  Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Member of Laurel
  Trinity Lutheran Church, Jennerstown.  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell,
  where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Jesse E.
  Wolf.  Interment, Lutheran Cemetery, Jennerstown.
