  RICE
  
  Clyde E. Rice, 71, Johnstown, formerly of Boswell, died Jan. 25,
  1980, at Lee Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Sept. 17, 1908 in William
  Station, a son of Andrew and Alice (Day) Rice.  Preceded in death by
  parents, sister, Mrs. Mary Cristoff and brothers, Charles and Jacob.
  Survived by a sister, Mrs. Ethel Mickol, Erie; also a number of
  nieces and nephews.  Member of USWA, retired employee of Johnstown
  plant, Bethlehem Steel Corp.  Friends received from noon until 9 p.m.
  Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main Street, Boswell, where
  services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Donald
  Chamberlain officiating.  Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
