  RICE
  
  Ord L. Rice, Sr., 63, died May 21, 1979, in Sun City, Ariz.  Born Jan.
  7, 1916, in Apollo, Pa., son of the late Claude and Etta Jane
  (Gather) Rice.  Survived by wife Carolina (Micklavich) Rice and three
  sons: Phillip, New York City; William, Florence, Ore.; and Ord Jr.,
  Glendale, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.  He was affiliated with
  Somerset Lodge No. 358, F & AM; the Jaffa Temple, Altoona; The
  Scottish Rite, Harrisburg; and Sun City High Twelve, Number 447, of
  which he was secretary.  He was founder of Somerset PTA scholarship
  fund, former president of Somerset Chamber of Commerce, and president
  of Vincent Golf Car Company.  Memorial service will be held Thursday,
  May 24, at Menke Funeral Home, Sun City, Ariz.  Interment, SunLand
  Memorial Park, Sun City, Ariz.  Memorial gifts may be made to the
  cancer fund.
