  RICE
  
  Ruth Rice, 61, of Ohiopyle RD, died April 24, 1974 at her home.  Born
  May 10, 1912 in Hopwood, daughter of the late James and Zella
  Passavant Rice.  Survived by a brother Phillipp of Hopwood and three
  sisters: Mrs. Martha Sprowl and Mrs. Leona Leinwand both of Ohiopyle
  RD and Mrs. Emma Hollan of Carlton, Ohio.  Friends will be received
  after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where
  services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Arthur Gothen [sic]
  officiating.  Interment in Mountain View Cemetery.
