    Stephen Joseph Richard, 54, Somerset, died Sept. 28, 2008, at his residence. Born Dec.
  9, 1953, in Washington, D.C., the son of John Carroll and Patricia Jane (Schrock)
  Richard. Preceded in death by his father. Survived by his mother, Somerset; children,
  Elizabeth Jayne Richard, Johnstown; Lucas P. Richard, married to the former Angie R.
  Adams, Hooversville; grandchildren, Pierce and Francis; also close friend and companion,
  Amy Sue Miller and her daughters, Teela and April Ogline, all of Somerset. A 1971
  graduate of Somerset High School. He formerly worked for 25 years for WJAC-TV, later as a
  driver for Dunmeyer Transport. Also a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. He had been
  an Eagle Scout and volunteered for the American Heart Association. No viewing or
  visitation. A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home, Somerset. The Rev. Father Daniel J. O'Neill celebrant. Committal, Husband
