    Mrs. Eleanor L. "Ellie" Richards, 80, Windber, passed away May 30, 2008, at Church of
  the Brethren Home, Windber. Born Aug. 31, 1927, in Somerset, daughter of John and Mary
  (Cramer) Duppstadt. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert; son, Terry; daughter,
  Sandy Kondas; granddaughter, Cindy; brother, Blair Showman; and son-in-law, George
  Kondas. Survived by these sons, Roger and special friend, Jolly, Windber; Dave Sr.,
  married to the former Deb Costlow, Johnstown; Robert and special friend, Jackie,
  Richland; and Barry, Windber; sisters, Mildred and husband, Fred Jacobs; Rita and
  husband, Daniel Polka; Betty Baumgardner and special friend, Frank McGlone; and Dorothy,
  wife of Harold Fisher; and brother, Clarence Duppstadt and wife, Mardelle, and
  daughter-in-law, Cory Richards. Also numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces
  and nephews. Attended Johnstown Christian Fellowship Church. Ellie was best known for her
  cooking. She enjoyed her bird "Pretty Baby." She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
  The family will receive friends from 4 until time of memorial service at 6 p.m. Saturday
  at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber. The Rev. Gary Tustin and Fr. Adrian
  officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Johnstown
  Christian Fellowship Church in memory of Ellie.
