  JOHN W. RICHARDS JR. 
  
  John William Richards Jr., 51, of 209 Upper Consol Road, was dead on
  arrival February 24, 1983 at Frostburg Community Hospital.  Born in
  Frostburg, Md, he was a son of Mrs. Florence (Snelson) Richards,
  Consol and the late John W. Richards Sr.  He was an employee of the
  Coddington Lumber Company and was a veteran of the Korean conflict.
  Surviving besides his mother are his widow, Mrs. Margaret (Kent)
  Richards; three daughters, the Misses Jacqueline Ann Richards,
  Cumberland, Maryland; Janice Lee Richards and Margaret Joan Richards,
  both at home; two sons, John W. Richards III and Darrell Steven
  Richards, both at home; one brother, James E. Richards, Cumberland;
  four sisters, Mrs. Helen Broadwater, Morantown; Mrs. Lillian Filer,
  Midlothian; Mrs. Florence Sivic, Eckhart; Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Paul,
  Meyersdale.  Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home.
