Riehl, 94, Berlin, died March 11, 2007, at Somerset Hospital. Born April 3, 1912, in Berlin, a son of the late Samuel and Marion (Uncapher) Riehl. Survived by his wife of 61 years, the former Anna Blanche Gauntz; daughters, Linda Eisler, married to Jack, Perry, Ohio; and Nancy Layding, married to Richard, Corinth, Texas; grandchildren, Chad Eisler, Wickliffe, Ohio; Craig Eisler, Phoenix, Ariz.; Martin Layding, Cincinnati, Ohio; and Michelle Nagel, Hamilton, Ohio; and nine great-grandchildren. He is a World War II Army veteran. He was a retired custodian for the Somerset County Vo-Tech and had also worked for 25- plus years at the Berlin Coke Bottling Plant. He was a member of the Somerset American Legion, Somerset VFW and the Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin. He enjoyed CB radios, model airplanes and dancing. Family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday. Pastor Eugene Oburn officiating. Interment Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
