GEORGE WILLIAM RIEHL

  George William Riehl, one of Berlin's older and most useful citizens, died 
Tuesday, Oct. 5, at his home on Broadway.
  He was the son of George and Sarah Dively Riehl and was born in Berlin, May 
13, 1863, and was 80 years, 4 months and 22 days old at the time of his 
departure. 
  He was a cabinet-maker by trade and with his father and brothers operated the 
Riehl furniture factory.
  Mr. Riehl was in failing health for the last year, but was bedfast only two 
weeks.
  He is survived by his wife, Annie Rhumiser Riehl and these brothers and 
sisters: Herman and Samuel Riehl of Berlin; Lucy, wife of Weller Saylor of 
Berlin, and Grace of Washington, D.C.
  Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. John N. Bethune, assisted by Rev. 
D. S. Stephen, in the Johnson Funeral Home, Friday at 2:30 p.m. with burial in 
the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Berlin.
