RIEMAN Emma Elizabeth Rieman, 99, of North Manchester, Ind., formerly of Somerset and Brothersvalley Township, died Dec. 27, 1979, at the home of her son, T. Wayne Rieman. She was born Feb. 11, 1880, in Berlin and was a daughter of the late Daniel H. and Mary (Knepper) Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband, George S., in 1945; a daughter; four sisters; and five brothers. She is survived by four children: Glenn W. Rieman of Bridgewater, Virginia ; T. Wayne of North Manchester, Ind.; Dwight W. of Columbia, Mo.; and Mrs. Elaine Holsinger of Somerset; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs. April May Beeghley of Blossburg, Pa.; and Mrs. Alma Rymer of Orlando, Fla. She was a member of Manchester Church of Brethren. Friends were received at Bender Funeral Home, North Manchester. A memorial service was conducted in Peter Sime Chapel in North Manchester with Pastor David Rogers officiating. Graveside services were conducted in Pike Cemetery, Brotherton, under the direction of the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home.
