RIGGLEMAN Paul William Riggleman, 70, of Carskadon Lane, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1987, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born at New Creek, he was a son of the late Claude Wilson and Alice (Turner) Riggleman. He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served with the First Troop, 124th Calvary Squadron in Central Burma and India-Burma in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. He was awarded the Purple Heart and the American Theater Service Ribbon. He was formerly employed for 15 years as an oiler at the Luke Mill of the Westvaco Corporation; a member of Queen's Point Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars, McCoole, Md., Mr. Riggleman attended the Keyser God Church. He is survived oy his widow, Josephine (Evans) Riggleman; two sons: Paul W. Riggleman Jr., Mount Storm, WV; and Rick Riggleman, Keyser, WV; six daughters: Polly Rodeheaver, Kay Fazenbaker and Sondra Slaughter, all of Keyser, WV; "Mat" Beeman and Lorraine Grady, both of Piedmont, WV; and Sharon Hott, Baltimore, Md.; one brother, Bill Riggleman, Keyser, WV; two sisters: Ruth Staggs, Keyser; and Josephine Leasure, Berlin; 23 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Friends were received in the Beal-Warnick Funeral Home, Westernport, Md., where services were conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Donald Goldizen. Interment, Bloomington Md., Cemetery.
