Ringer died March 18, 1940, at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Oglevee, in Connellsville, where he made his home for some time. He was the last surviving child of Abraham and Lydia Worner Ringer's large family. He was born Dec. 13, 1849. He is survived by five children, Mrs. C. R. Olgevee, Connellsville; Mrs. Cora Grove, Frederick, Md.; Mrs. A. J. Templeton, Wilkinsburg; Mrs. Lewis Perry, Wilkinsburg; and J. M. Ringer, Youngwood, Pa.; also by eleven grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held today (Thursday), short services at the home and full services at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, better known as the Ringer Church. Meyersdale Republican, March 21, 1940
