Ringer, 58, of Rockwood RD 3, died March 7, 1977, in Somerset Community Hospital. He was born March 1, 1919, in Confluence, a son of Wade and Margaret Leydig Ringer. He is survived by his parents, of Rockwood RD 3; his wife, Velma Phillippi Ringer, of Rockwood RD 3; his son-in-law, Hertsel George, of Grittman, Ohio; one brother, Carl of Rockwood RD 3; one sister, Mrs. Fern Tressler, Rockwood RD 3; and one grandson, Charles George Ringer, of Rockwood RD 3. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Juanita Mae George, May 2, 1965; also by his brother, Donald, Oct. 15, 1964. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Rockwood, a member of Somerset F and AM Lodge 358 and the Harrisburg Consistory. He was a 32nd Degree Mason. He was employed by the B&O Railroad where he worked for 33 years. Funeral services were held Wednesday at William J. Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Dwayne Johnson officiating.
