  EVELYN M. RINGER 
  
  Evelyn M. Ringer, 68, of Rear 722 Diamond St., Berlin, died July 22,
  1981, at her home.  She was born July 17, 1913, in Somerset, daughter
  of the late Arthur and Rose (Ritter) Shafer.  She was also preceded in
  death by one sister.  She is survived by her husband, Charles; a
  daughter, Mrs. Charles (Patricia) Heiple, Berlin RD 1; five
  grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by a
  stepbrother, Willard Simpson of Somerset.  She was a member of Berlin
  Area Senior Citizens.  Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman
  Funeral Home, Berlin, where services were held with the Rev. Robert
  L. Hoffman officiating.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
