Born April 17, 1934, in Westernport, Md., a son of the late John Darwin and Ruby Jeffreys Ringer. Also preceded in death by a brother, Elwood Ringer. Survived by his wife, Maxine Bishoff Ringer; three daughters, Crystal Varner and spouse, Alex, Stoystown, Yvette Penrod and spouse, Tom, Johnstown and Carla Ringer, Thomasville; brother, Darwin J. Ringer and spouse, Vivian, Albright; sister-in-law, Burhl Ringer, Albright; stepdaughter, Donna Maxine Whoolery, Pt. Marion; stepson, Donald Eugene Martin, Morgantown; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Jimmy was the owner and operator of Ringer Repair at McHenry. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, W.Va. and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, the hour of service, at the Centenary United Methodist Church. The Rev. William Dawson and Rev. Warren Friend officiating. Burial will follow in the Centenary Cemetery, Bruceton Mills, W.Va.
