The son of the late Joseph and Lela (Feathers) Ringer, he was horn March 15, 1905, at Albright, W.Va. He is survived by two sons: Darwin Junior Ringer of Albright. and Jimmy L. Ringer of McHenry, Md.; 7 grandchildren: Dianna L. Ringer, Robbin Ringer, Sylvia Brown, Julie Hofer, Crystal Varner, Yvette Sechler and Carla Bowers; 11 greatgrandchildren and one step-greatgranddaughter. Preceded in death by his wife, Ruby E. Ringer, March 19, 1996; a son, Elwood "Woody" Ringer, and two sisters, Icy Gibson and Verna Jenkins. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, Brandonville, W.Va., and in the Centenary United Methodist Church front noon to 1 p.m., the time of services, with Rev. Donald Matthews and Rev. Bill Brown officiating.
