Ringer, 65, Markleysburg RD 1, died March 26, 1986, at the Uniontown Hospital. Born July 23, 1920, in Cranesville (Preston County), W.Va., he was a son of the late Ray and Barbara (Haigh) Ringer. Survived by his wife, Elvaree (Titchenell) Ringer; a daughter, Earldean Browning, Cumberland, Md.; and two grandsons. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 651, Caravan Nine of Uniontown, the Scottish Rite, and Pittsburgh Shrine. He was a member and past president of the Ft. Necessity Lions Club; charter member and chairman of the Mt. Area Health Center, Markleysburg; member of the Markleysburg Volunteer Fire Department; president of Ringer Petroleum Company and Ringer Trucking Company of Markleysburg; member of: Pennsylvania Petroleum Association, American Truckers Association and board of directors of the National Bank of Western Pennsylvania. He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Cathlolic Church of Farmington, a member of the VFW of Terra Alta, W. Va., and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence. Mass of Christian Burial to be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc RC Church, Farmington, with the Rev. Father Vincent Gigliotti as celebrant.
