Earl Lewis Ringler, 90, Haughton, La., died Feb. 10, 1995, in Shreveport, La. Born March 15, 1904, in Kantner, son of Charles and Fanny (Berkebile) Ringler. Preceded in death by parents and wife, the former Wava Cook. Survived by daughter, Lois Jean White, Lincoln, Ark.; son, Lt. Col. William C. Ringler, Naughton, La.; granddaughter, Julie Milton, and great-grandsons, Steven Zega and Joel Fineberg, all of Arkansas. A 1921 graduate of Shade High School. A 1926 graduate of West Point. Retired from U.S. Army. Served during World War II in the ChinaBurma-India Theater. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. David A. Gray. Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
