Ringler died at her home in Salisbury, Jan. 25, 1941, in her 78th year, of a complication of ailments and the infirmities of old age. She was a native of this locality, and lived most of her life in Elk Lick Township, but was a resident of Salisbury during the latter years of her life. Her last illness lasted two weeks. She was the wife of the late Samuel J. Ringler, who preceded her in death several years ago, and was a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (??lker) Duecker. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Josiah Long, Somerset; Dillon L. Ringler of Frostburg, Md.; Mrs. Chester Herring, Lemon and Earl C. Ringler of Salisbury. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren. Funeral services at St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church, Elk Lick Township, Monday at 2:30 p.m., conducted by Rev. A. M. Wright, who substituted for the deceased's pastor, Rev. Alvin J. Forry, who is ill. Interment in the St. Paul cemetery under the direction of W. C. Price & Son, Meyersdale morticians. Mrs. Ringler lived most of her life near the village of St. Paul, and was a faithful and devout worshipper at the church for many years where her funeral was held. By her death Salisbury has lost a highly esteemed citizen, and her children a kind and loving mother. Meyersdale Republican, January 30, 1941
