Ringler, 65, of Berlin RD 1, died Dec. 5, 1984, at home. He was born Feb. 14, 1919, in Berlin, the son of William S.E. and Rebecca (Felton) Ringler. Preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Mildred, Edith and Leona; and two brothers: Lawrence and Herbert. He is survived by his wife, the former Rae Frances Meyer, and these children: Mrs. Raymond (Becky) Swallow, Central City RD 1; Charles "Chuck," married to the former Bonnie Maust, Somerset RD 3; Keith, married to the former Bonnie Wahl, Hooversville RD 1; and Cindy, at home. Also, seven grandchildren. He was a brother of Mrs. Barnett (Mary) Ream, of Somerset RD 7; Miss Alda Ringler, Berlin RD 1; Mrs. Fred (Louella) Wilkie of Johnstown; Norman Ringler, Cranberry, N.J.; and Mrs. Elwood (Hilda) Norris, Fairhope RD 1. He was an army veteran of World War II and retired after 25 years as a custodian of the Shanksville-Stonycreek School. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanks. ville; member of Mountain Field and Stream Club of Roxbury; Shanksville Volunteer Fire Department; Robert Walker Post 7295, VFW, Berlin; past commander of Shanksville American Legion Post 911; and a life member of the National Rifle Association of America. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev.
