RINGLER James Willam Ringler, 53, of Wellersburg, died Sept. 10, 1972, in Nashville, Tenn. A native of Meyersdale, he was a son of Mrs. Sadie (Lenhart) Ringler, Barrelville, Md., and the late James Roy Ringler. He was owner and operator of a service station, and Army Medical Corps veteran of World War II and was a member of Old Rail Post VFW, Mt. Savage; Barrelville Presbyterian Church and Kempt Lodge 154, AF&AM. He was a well known boxer and was associated with several boxing organizations in Cumberland. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, the former Betty Witt; a son, James W. Ringler, Cumberland; a granddaughter, Theresa Ringler; two brothers, Eugene Ringler, Baltimore, Md.; and Glenn Ringler, Corriganville, Md.; and a sister, Mrs. Gloria Platt, Mt. Savage. Funeral service was conducted Wednesday afternoon in Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, with Rev. Douglas Borko officiating. Interment in Sunset Memorial Park.
