Ringler, 71, Plainsboro, N.J., formerly of Roxbury, died March 29, 1996 at the Medical Center at Princeton, N.J. Preceded in death by wife, Dolores T. Ringler in 1989. Survived by two sons, Mark, and wife, Teresa, of Plainsboro; and Christopher, and wife, Susan, of Monmouth Junction, N.J.; 4 grandchildren, Alicia, Kyle, Daniel and Jeremy Ringler; and sisters, Alda Ringler of Roxbury, Hilda Norris of Fairhope and Louella Wilkie of Johnstown. Army veteran of World War II. Started his service with the Air Corps in 1942, then transferred to Army 3rd Armored Infantry and was discharged in 1945 as a sergeant. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart and also received several other medals of service and good conduct. He retired in 1979 from Nassau Conover Service. Dept., Princeton, after six years. Formerly employed by Potter Hillman, Hightstown for 29 years. An avid hunter and outdoorsman, he was a member of the Princeton Rod and Gun Club and the Western Clinton Sportsman Association in Pa. Interment, Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury, N.J. Contributions may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, P.O. Box 119024, Kansas City, Mo., 64171-9024. Viewing will be from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 N. Main St., Cranbury, N.J. Service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday with Rev. Fred Miller and Rev. John Maltby officiating.
