  Larry M. Rings
  
  Larry M. Rings, 81, Friedens, died Sept. 14, 2004, at his residence.  Born
  Nov. 15, 1922, in Hunker, he is the son of the late Walter and Bessie (St.
  Clair) Rings.  Also preceded in death by brothers, George, Ken and Lester
  and sister Madlyn Miller and Ann VanDyke.  He is survived by his wife of 58
  years, the former June Holt and these children: Randy, Friedens and Mrs.
  Ken (Carol) Marker, Berlin; grandchildren: Mrs. Darrin (Cathy) Gaudlip and
  Woody Marker and wife Christal; great-grandchildren: Amber Gaudlip and
  Madison Marker; sister, Dorothy Rings, Akron, Ohio.  Member of Somerset
  County Jeep Club.  U.S. Army veteran of World War II and Korea and retired
  equipment operator for PennDOT.  Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Wednesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where service will be
  held 10:30 a.m. Thursday.  The Rev. Paul Yanke officiating.  Interment in
  Husband Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the Somerset County Honor
  Guard c/o VFW Post 554, 139 W. Union St., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
