Son of Charles Blair and Essie Estella (Sherman) Rinick. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, Nellie Mae Arnold Rinick who died Dec. 5, 1979; seeond wife Alda Beatrice Sarver Rinick. who died Aug. 24, 1996; son, Richard Rinick; great-grandson, Cody Hay; a brother Paul W. Rinick, and two sisters, Melda Ringer and Mary Hammond. Survived by daughter Mrs. James (Mary Lou) Hay, Rockwood; five grandchildren, Mrs. Kevin (Tammy) Hoover of Rockwood, Mrs. Dan (Jody) Kolarik, White, Pa., Mrs. Charles (Wendy) Metheny, Confluence, Mrs. Brian (Becky) Weyant of Somerset, and James W. Hay, Somerset; nine grandchildren, Kaleigh and Taylor Hoover, Layce and Chelsie Cline, Sierra Kolarik, Kiana and Jonathan Metheny, Brianna Weyant and Austin Hay, Also sister Louise V. Rinick, Somerset, and two nephews, Ronald L. Hammond of Duncansville, and Harold H. Hammond of I luntingdon. A 1934 graduate of Somerset High School. A World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. Member of VFW Post 554. Retired butcher for the former Edgewood Market of Somerset. Enjoyed fishing and hunting. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Charles R. Hay officiating. Interment, Beams Cemetery.
