  Carmelo "Charlie" Riposo, 81, House 89, East Third St., Gray, died
  May 17, 1975, at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born March 23, 1894, in
  Alino Marina, Sicily, a son of Peter and Maira Sentinere Riposo.
  Preceded in death by parents, an infant son, three sisters and three
  brothers.  Survived by his widow, the former Grace D'Arrigo and these
  children: Mary, wife of Edward Lawrence, Mrs. Jennie McGlaughlin,
  Josephine, wife of Vincent Borelle, and Anthony, married to the
  former Mildred Knight, all of Akron, Ohio; Pete, married to the
  former Janet Adams, Johnstown RD 4; and Carmela, wife of William
  Widmyer, West Bloomfield, Mich; nine grandchildren and two
  great-grandchildren.  He was a stepbrother of Agatino in Sicily.
  Member of UMW of A., retired employe of Pittsburgh Consolidation Coal
  Company, Gray.  He was a retired resident of Gray since 1933.  Mr. and
  Mrs. Riposo celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary March 14, 1975.
  Friends were received Sunday evening and will be received Monday
  (today) at Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell,
  where rosary and vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday. Mass of
  Christian burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Church, Acosta, with
  the Rev. J. Joseph Strittmatter officiating.  Interment, Husband
  Cemetery.
