Born Aug. 7, 1914, in Berlin, a daughter of John and Annie (Menges) Thomas. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Paul Ritchey Sr.; daughter, Sally Champion; son, Rev. Ronald Ritchey; three brothers and four sisters. Survived by these children, Eleanor Jean Pereboom, Florida, Paul Jr. and wife, Katey, Berlin, and Jane Barnett, Ohio; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by a sister, Katherine Trent, Somerset, and numerous nieces and nephews. She baked and sold homemade bread and cinnamon rolls in Berlin and Somerset for many years. She was known as the "Bread Lady." A member of Berlin Brethren Church. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the Berlin Brethren Church, Eugene Oburn, pastor officiating. Interment, Mount Sinah Chapel Cemetery. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made in her name to Brooke Grove Foundation Inc. (Rest Assured Residential Living Center), 1137 Shirleys Hollow Road, Meyersdale, PA 15552.
