  Rev. Ronald B. Ritchey, 65, of Berlin, died Dec. 21, 1997, at Meadow
  View Nursing Center, Berlin.  Born March 18, 1921, in Johnstown, son
  of Rae Lucille (Thomas) Ritchey, of Berlin, and the late Paul
  Ritchey.  Also preceded in death by a sister, Sally Champion.  Also
  survived by his wife of 37 years, the former Margaret Adele Linsley,
  and these children: Paul, married to the former Deb Michael, Ashland,
  Ohio; John, married to the former Toni Nicklow, Baltimore, Md.; and
  Adele, married to David Merkel, Hyndman. Grandchildren: John and
  Jacob Ritchey and Rae Ann Merkel.  Brother of Eleanor Pereboom,
  Atlantic, Fla.; Paul Ritchey, Leesburg, Va., and Jane Barnett,
  Syracuse, Ohio. Graduate of Berlin High School Class of 1950, Ashland
  College, and Ashland Theological Seminary.  Former teacher in Ohio.
  Served as pastor in churches in Indiana, Ohio, Maryland and
  Pennsylvania.  Most recently at Trinity United Church of Christ,
  Roxbury, and the Brethren Church of Cumberland, Md.  Member of
  Macdonaldton Sportsmen's Club.  Family will receive friends from 12:30
  p.m. until Memorial Service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Berlin Brethren
  Church, Rev. Bryan G. Karchner officiating.  Memorial contributions
  may be given to Berlin Brethren Church, Berlin, Pa. 15530, to be used
  for mission work.  Arrangements by Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin.
