  CLARA ELIZABETH RITCHIE
  
  Clara Elizabeth Ritchie, 95, of 200 Wiegand Drive, LaVale, Md., died
  May 25, 1982 in the Cuppett-Weeks Nursing Home, Oakland, Md., where
  she had resided five years.  Born in Fairhope, she was a daughter of
  Francis Edward and Jennie (Diehl) Smith.  Her husband, Orland Douglas
  Ritchie, proceded her in death.  She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary
  to the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and Daughters of America.  She
  was a retired cook from the old LaVale Elementary School.  She is
  survived by a son, Douglas Edward Ritchie, Sr., LaVale; a grandson
  and three great-grandchildren.  Friends were received at the
  Leasure-Stein Funeral Home where services were conducted with the
  Rev. Albert L. Lepley officiating.  Interment will be in Hillcrest
  Burial Park.
