She was born on July 5, 1955, in Somerset, a daughter of Richard and Shelby (Burk) Drummond of Hartville, Ohio. Preceded in death by a brother, Michael Drummond. She is survived by her parents; husband of 20 years, Edward Brian Ritenour; children, Brian Gary Ritenour living at home, Jason and Michelle Ritenour of Doylestown, Ohio, Jeremy and Sara Ritenour of Akron, Ohio, and Janet and Jim Lucas of Barberton, Ohio; grandmother, Erma Burk of Somerset; grandchildren, Chase, Haley, and Austin Ritenour of Doylestown, Ohio; siblings, Lonnie and Leonard Dye of Stow, Ohio, Vicky and Roy Bishop of New Jersey, Ricky Drummond of Hartville, Melvin and Heidi Drummond of Salem, Ohio and Kathy Ritenour of Akron, Ohio; best friends, Sharon Fletcher and family, and Laura Boncoski and family; and numerous other special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is a 1973 graduate of Brunswick High School. Wanda was instrumental in her and her husband's business, Akron Air Products. She was a member of Akron-Springfield Assembly of God where she helped in the nursery, was a group leader for the Royal Rangers, and was a secret sister. She was active in charitable causes, like sponsoring children overseas, and she always put other people first. Wanda was fond of boating and skiing and especially fond of her nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Friends may call 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Arnold Funeral Home and one hour prior to service at the church 10 to 11 a.m. Monday. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Akron-Springfield Assembly of God. The Rev. Mark Hadinger officiating. Final resting place is Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Akron-Springfield Assembly of God, 1551 Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio 44312 to assist cancer patients seeking holistic care.
