ANNA MARY RITTER

  Mrs. Anna Mary Ritter, widow of the late Rev. George O. Ritter, died Saturday, 
Sept. 11, in Confluence.  She was born Sept. 23, 1874, in Agustaville, 
Northumberland County, Pa., the daughter of John Mark and Louisa Emerick Boyer.  
She married George Oliver Ritter, an ordained minister of the Lutheran Church, 
in Selinsgrove in 1900.
  The Rev. and Mrs. Ritter served the Lutheran Church for 40 years, the last 19 
years in the Confluence, Addison, St. Paul, Ursina parish.
  Mrs. Ritter is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Louise Brown, of Cleveland, O., 
and a son, John Meridith Ritter of Syracuse, N.Y.  One son, George Walter 
Ritter, preceded her in death.  Also surviving are nine grandchildren, three 
sisters, Mrs. Lulu Howith of Baltimore, and Mrs. Lea R. Lesher of Sanford, 
Florida, and one brother, Roland Boyer of Catarissa, Pa.
  Funeral services were held by her pastor, the Rev. Jerome V. Guss, in the 
Black Funeral Home, Confluence, Monday, Sept. 13.  Burial was made beside her 
husband in the Addison Cemetery.
