  RIVERA
  
  Gertrude G. "Gert" Rivera, 63, Johnstown, formerly of Stoystown RD
  (Wilbur), died Dec. 6, 1999, at Good Samaritan Nursing Care Center,
  following a lengthy illness.  She was born July 9, 1936, in Shade
  Township, daughter of Pastor and Erva (Weible) Rivera.  Preceded in
  death by parents; brother, Harold Ray, and sister, Lola Lee. Survived
  by these brothers and sisters: Glendon, married to former Janet
  Corbett, Hooversville; Shirley, married to Frank Kelly, and Gloria,
  married to John Fleegle, both of Stoystown, and Ronald L., married to
  former Elaine Grexa. Johnstown. Also, several nieces, nephews, aunts
  and uncles.  A 1954 graduate of Shade High School.  Formerly employed
  by Henderson's Laundry, Johnstown; and Somerset State Hospital.  She
  was a member of A.F.S.C.M.E., Council 13, Local 2342.  She was an avid
  sports fan.  She loved country music and traveling.  A tree will be
  planted in Gert' s memory.  Family will receive friends from 6 to 9
  p.m. Tuesday, at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will
  be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday.  Rev. Gerald L. Myers officiating.
  Interment, Otterbein Cemetery, Wilbur.  Memorial contributions may be
  given to Otterbein U.M. Church, Stoystown, Pa., 15563, or Trinity
  Lutheran Church, Hooversville, Pa., 15936.
