Rizer, 43, of 19 Sollers Point Road, Baltimore, Md., died June 14, 1981 at Church Home and Hospital, Baltimore, after a lingering illness. She was born in Mount Savage, and was a daughter of Dorothy (Chambers) Carter, Mount Savage, and the late Thomas Carter. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Church, Baltimore. Surviving besides her mother are her husband, John Rizer, Baltimore; a son, John Rizer, stationed with the armed forces in West Germany; two daughters, Miss Denise Rizer, at home, and Mrs. Gwendolyn Wirth, Savannah, Ga.; six sisters, Mrs. Albert Bridges, Cumberland; Mrs. Joseph Finzel, Sykesville; Mrs. Glenn Ringer, Corriganville, Md.; Mrs. Roy Murray, Meyersdale; Miss Jeanette Carter, Mount Savage; and Mrs. Russell Booth, Baltimore; a brother, Thomas Carter, Mount Savage, and three grandchildren. Friends were received at the Sowers Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial was held June 17 at St. Patrick's Church, Mount Savage. Interment was in RestLawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Murray Jr., Glenn Jr., Greg Rizer, Finzel, Doug David Underwood. The Republic, June 18, 1981 [R680]
