  Paul J. Rizzo, 81, of Santee, Calif., formerly of Jennerstown and
  Philadelphia, died Aug. 9, 2001 at home.  Born Sept. 10. 1919 in
  Philadelphia.  Son of Leo and Concetta (Gazzarra) Rizzo.  Preceded in
  death by parents and four brothers.  Survived by wife of 55 years, the
  former Emma Tasin, originally of Jerome; daughter Marie. wife of James
  E. Smith, of San Diego, Calif.; and grandson Garry laconelli of
  Hermosa Beach, Calif. Lifetime member of the VFW, Navy veteran of
  World War II and Korean War.  Retired equipment specialist from the
  Philadelphia Naval Ship Yard.  Family will receive friends from 9 a.m.
  until the time of service 10 a.m. Saturday at Hoffman Funeral Home,
  Allegheny Street, Boswell, Rev. Father Martin Breski, OFM Cony.
  Committal Mt. Cannel Cemetery, near Jennerstown.  In lieu of flowers
  memorials may be sent to Sharp Hospice P.O. Box 158 LaMesa, Calif.,
