Roach, 65, of Johnstown died June 7, 1998 at Rebekah Manor, Johnstown. Born Nov. 20, 1932 in Johnstown, son of Thomas J. and Janet E. (Howe) Roach. Preceded in death by father and a sister Barbara Joan Love. Survived by mother, Johnstown; wife, the former Debra S. Hoover; two sons, Thomas E. and wife Joan and Jeffrey L. and wife Lynda, both of Warren, Ohio; and six grandchildren. Brother of J. Kent and wife Caryl, Johnstown. Mother-and-father-in-law Herbert and Bernadine Hoover of Rockwood, sister-in-law Kim and husband Richard Garretson of Johnstown, and brother-in-law, Kevin Hoover and wife Tammy of New Centerville. Also 10 nieces and nephews. Retired R.N. from Mercy Hospital. Member of the First Presbyterian Church, Monroe Lodge F& A.M. of Woodsfield, Ohio., and O.E.S. U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Friends will be received from 2-9 p.m. Monday at the Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Johnstown, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
