  Elsie M. Roberts, 73, of Ligonier RD 3, died at the Latrobe Area
  Hospital Oct 11, 1981.  Born Dec. 30, 1907, in Bakersville, daughter
  of the late John P.V. and Sara Jane (Kunkle) Beckner.  Preceded in
  death by husband, Muller G. Roberts, in 1975.  Survived by seven
  children: Charlotte Riffle of Ligonier RD 3; Nellie Welty of
  Ligonier, Clair Pritts of Ligonier RD 3; Fern Tobias of Harrisburg;
  James Smith of New Florence; Marjorie Riffle of Naples, Fla.;
  Geraldine Roberts of Ligonier RD 3; 20 grandchildren; seven
  great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hanle Miller of Somerset and Ola
  McKlveen of Ligonier.  Family will receive friends at the Owen Wolford
  Funeral Home, 144 E. Main St., Ligonier, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.  Services will be held in the chapel of
  the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. John J. McClure
  officiating.  Interment will follow in the Menoher Memorial Cemetery.
