  Thomas Saunders Roberts, 78, of Somerset, died Dec. 4, 1999, at
  Bethesda Meadows Nursing Home, St. Louis, Mo.  Born Jan. 26, 1921, in
  Upper Darby, son of Edward and Harriet (Miller) Roberts.  Preceded in
  death by parents; his wife, the former Jennie Panasci, on Aug. 21,
  1999: and brothers Jack, Albert and Harry Roberts.  Survived by two
  children Mrs. Lewis M. (Harriet) Roberts of Franklin Square, N.Y.,
  and Randall S. Roberts, married to the former Nancy Moore, of St.
  Louis, Mo.; and grandchildren Kimberly Durso of North Huntingdon,
  Adam Roberts of Franklin Square, N.Y., and Ashley, Alex, Michael and
  Andrew Roberts of St. Louis, Mo. Brother of Helen Weidaman of
  Philadelphia and Alma Housel of Springfield, Ill.  Member of Calvary
  Methodist Church. Accountant supervisor for GPUPenelec, retiring in
  1980.  A sergeant and World War II veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps
  4th Marine Division in the Pacific Theater.  Member of Garfield Lodge
  #559 F&AM, Somerset American Legion Post 181 and the Somerset Country
  Club, where he was an avid golfer prior to his illness.  A graveside
  service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at Somerset County Memorial
  Park, Somerset, with the Rev. Raymond E. Lyon officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to Somerset
  "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 N. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
