Robeson, 72, of Star Route, Md., died Nov. 19, 1979 in Meyersdale Community Hospital. He was born at Avilton, Md., a son of the late Enoch Robeson and Lillie (Bloucher) Robeson. He was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Woodmen of the World Camp 41 and was a retired poultryman on the lower New Germany Road. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Helen ( Broadwater) Robeson; one son, Darwin Robeson, and one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Zumpano, both of Star Route, Md., five brothers, Forest Robeson, Edwin Robeson, Owen Robeson and Vernon Robeson, all of Frostburg, Md.; Albert Robeson, Westminster, Md., and four grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md. Services were conducted in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Pastor Sadie Triplett officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wayne Broadwater, Allen Broad-water, Don Broadwater, Homer Broadwater, Henry Hummel and Elmer C. Durst.
