ROBINETTE Carrie Cathleen Robinette, 80, of 1200 Oldtown Road, died June 21, 1983, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Maryland, where she had been a patient five days. She had been in ill health about one year. She was born in Wellersburg, and was a daughter of the late Josiah Daniel Sturtz and Lilly Mae (Gary) Sturtz. She was a retired employee of the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company, where she had worked in the stock preparation department. She is survived by her husband, Frank L. Robinette; a son, Linwood L. Robinette, LaVale, Maryland; three brothers, Melvin Sturtz, Cresaptown, Maryland; Daniel Sturtz and Calvin Sturtz, both Wellersburg; three sisters, Mrs. Irma Robinette, Wellersburg; Mrs. Ethel L. Davis and Mrs. Florence A. Dryer, both of Cumberland; a grandson and two great grandchildren. Friends were received at the Silcox-Merritt Funeral Residence where services were conducted by, the Rev. Richard E. Manning, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Interment was in Zion Memorial Park, Bedford Road. The Republic, June 30, 1983 [R766]
