Robinette, 87, of Wellersburg, died Sunday, March 28, 1993 at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland. Born April 6, 1905 in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Frederick O. and Bessie (Brotemarkle) Robinette. He was also preceded in death by one son, Ronald N. Robinette; who died in 1945 while serving with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is buried in England. He was a retired employee of Ohio Steel Tube Company, Shelby, OH, with 15 years of service. Prior to that, he was a self-employed coal miner. He had worked for 20 years at Mount Savage Refractories. He was a lifelong member and former trustee of the Mt. Harmony United Methodist Church, Wellersburg. He is survived, by his wife of 68 years, Bertha E. (Long) Robinette; two sons: Charles, Wellersburg, and Larry, Shelby, OH; two daughters: Alice M. Dietz, Shelby, and Lois J. Cessna, Meyersdale RD 4; nine grandchildren and eight grandchildren. Services were held Wednesday at the Mount Harmony United Methodist Church, the Revs. Joseph Stains, Rick Nelson and David Klink officiating. Interment, Cook Cemetery.
