Robinson, 32, of Centerville RD 1, died Saturday, April 19, 1986, at the VA Medical Center in Aspinwall after an extended illness. Born May 1, 1953 in Meyersdale, he was a son of Ervin Robinson and Hazel (Lewis) Robinson, of Blairsville. Raised in Hyndman, he was a 1971 graduate of Hyndman High School. He served two years in the US Marine Corps stationed in Japan, after which he worked at the Cooper Energy Services and Guy Fish Ford Company in Spartansburg. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Mageetown. Surviving are his widow, Deborah (Bidwell) Robinson; a son, Timothy John Robinson, at home; a brother, Stanley Robinson, Hyndman; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Clites, St. Thomas; Mrs. Lela Leydig, Hyndman, and Mrs. Kathryn Bidwell, Spartansburg. Friends were received at the Bracken Funeral Home in Spartansburg where services were conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. John T. Bugza, pastor at Immaculate Conception Church.
