"Doozie" Robinson, 94, Cresaptown, Md., died Saturday, Feb. 4, 1989, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born July 19, 1894, at Long Stretch, she was the daughter of the late John and Sarah (Christner) McKenzie. Her husband, Bruce E. Robinson died in July, 1949. Surviving are five sons, Elmer Robinson, Webster Springs, W.Va.; John Robinson, Peytona, W.Va.; Ervin Robinson, Blairsville; George Robinson, Cresaptown, Md.; and Lawrence Robinson, Oldtown, Md.; six daughters, Miss Anna Robinson and Mrs. Emma Lewis, both of Eckhart, Md.; Mrs. Sarah Baker, Pocahontas; Mrs. Henrietta McKenzie, with whom she resided; Mrs. Lula Steiner, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; and Mrs. Louise Stahli, Johnsonburg; 39 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; and 31 great-great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Hafer-Frost Mansion Funeral Home where services were conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. by Msgr. John Reinsfelder. Interment, St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Avilton, Md. Pallbearers were Thomas Robinson, Steven Steiner, Raymond Steiner, Roger Steiner, Donald Lewis and Stanley Robinson, all grandsons. The Republic, February 16, 1989 [R783]
