Born March 7, 1921, in Aliquippa, son of William and Melvina (Walker) Robison. Preceded in death by his parents; first wife, the former Hazel Eller. Survived by his wife, Jean (Putman) Schardt Robison; a son, Russ, Atlanta, Ga.; a stepson, Bernard Schardt, Somerset; three step- grandchildren; one step-great- grandchild; two brothers: Charles, Monaca; and Earl, Florida; and a sister, Melvina O'Roak, Monaca. He attended the Abundant Life Christian Center. He retired J&L Steel Co., Aliquippa. Veteran of World War II. Served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Somerset Post 554, VFW. Friends will be received after 4 p.m. Saturday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted Sunday at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Sam L. Coughenour. Interment will be Monday in Woodlawn Cemetery, Aliquippa. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Abundant Life Building Fund. Daily American, Febraury 17, 1989 [R786]
