  ROBY
  
  James E. Roby, 82, who lived with his granddaughter, Nancy Peterson
  in Scottdale, formerly of Meyersdale, died Oct. 9, 1997, in the V.A.
  Medical Center, Aspinwall.  Born Dec. 25, 1914, in Garrett, a son of
  the late William and Zella (Kimmel) Roby.  Preceded in death by his
  wife, Margaret (Gray) Roby.  Survived by two children: Robert and
  Sharon Seifert, both of Cumberland, Md.; six grandchildren, six
  great-grandchildren, also three sisters: Thelma Romigh, Beaver, Pa.,
  Mary Ellen Romesburgh, Pittsburgh; and Janet Tinder, Massillon, Ohio.
  He was a retired B&O Railroad trainsman.  Friends will be received
  Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Leckemby Funeral Home, where
  service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. elnterment, Union Cemetery.
