"Ted" Rodamer, 73, of Harrisonburg, Va., died Feb. 18, 1988, at the University of Virginia Medical Center where he had been a patient for the past six weeks. He was born Aug. 5, 1914, in Grantsville, Md., the son of the late Stewart and Orpha (Maust) Rodamer. He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Bacskay and one son, Charles "Chuck" Rodamer, of Harrisonburg, and two grandchildren. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was a former member of the Board of Deacons; a graduate of Pennsylvania State University; served during World War II with the 24th Infantry Division in the Pacific Theater; was employed by the U.S. Forestry Services for 37 years, retiring in 1971; secretary - treasurer of Rodamer's Landscaping, Inc.; member of the Elks Lodge and was active in Scout work. Services were held 3:30 p.m. Feb. 21, at the First Presbyterian Church with Dr. John F. Sloop officiating. Interment, East Lawn Memorial Gardens. Lindsey Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
